Snake
The Bear (X iong in Chines e) has similar pronunciation as "Hong" (Great) and the Bat (Fu in Chinese) has similar pronunciation as "Fu" (Good fortune and happiness). Thus a robust bear and a bat will form the symbolization of great fortune. The bee hive is the place to produce and store honey (Mi Tang in Chinese). "Tang" has the same pronunciation as the "Tang" (whole place throughout) in "Hong Fu Man Tan". A grey bear is climbing the tree in search of honey. There is a bee hive and a bat on the tree. These three items will combine to form the auspicious image of great fortune throughout, being full of joy and happiness.
There is a vast improvement in the Snake's fortune this year though there are still hidden troubles. Work progress is still considered stable. It is a pity that financial fortune is only moderate. For the people born in the year of the Snake, it is advisable to place a pair of "Hong Fu Man Tang" auspicious ornament made of brownish grey colored semi-precious stone at the West direction or location at home or in the room, or alternatively at the side of the bed to enhance the fortune.
